Description
This vincotto is made from Huon and Derwent Valley black cherries. The intensely flavoured reduction of pressed black cherries is aged for over 16 months. It is then balanced with the black cherry vinegar in the agrodolce (sweet and sour) style, each 200ml bottle has been made with over a kilogram of fresh cherries.
This sticky, rich syrup has deep black cherry aromas, combined with rich coffee and caramel flavours, fruit sweetness and a balanced acidity.
Drizzle over salad greens, duck or salted caramel ice-cream! Also, good served alongside matured cheeses.
