Indian Brown Cardamom, also known as Black Cardamom, has a strong, smoky taste that is quite different from traditional green cardamom.
They are perfect for making marinades for tandoori-style cooking, and they also go well in butter chicken.
Brown Cardamom is not interchangeable with Green Cardamom in recipes.
