REINFORCED WATER ACTIVATED TAPE (WAT) IS AN EXTRA STRONG ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY ALTERNATIVE TO PLASTIC PACKAGING TAPE.
The unique materials consist of a combination of natural kraft papers, starch-based adhesives (eco-glue) and cross woven filaments to create a secure, extra strong, eco-friendly seal. This water activated tape can be applied by running a wet cloth or sponge over the tape or by using a handy Water Activated Tape Dispenser. Moisture activates the adhesive to penetrate the fibres of the carton/cardboard and secures the package. This paper tape is effective, easy to use, and most importantly, offers the same security and strength as plastic packaging tape. It also doesn’t need to be removed from the cardboard or carton when recycling. The paper that makes up the vast majority of this water tape is recyclable and the small amount of strength filament gets filtered out during the recycling process.
