Description
The Hand Hatchet is a lightweight axe ideal for scouting and camping. It has a short stocky handle relative to the size of its head. The dimensions of the axe provides purchase and control, making it excellent for limbing and splitting smaller branches for firewood.
Like all Gränsfors Bruk Forest Axes, the head is specially designed to cut across the grain of the wood fibres (in contrast to the splitting axes which are specially designed to cut along the grain of the wood fibres).
