BoronGreen tools combine the superior performance of boron steel, with sustainability credentials including 80% recycled steel and FSC®-certified white ash wood.
Boron steel is stronger, more durable and tougher than a like-for-like carbon steel tool – without adding extra weight. It’s also better at holding an edge for longer.
The square shovel is ideal for lifting, moving and spreading loose materials such as soil, compost and mulch. The deep dish lets you carry the maximum load with every lift.
The steel is 80% from recycled sources, believed to be a first in UK garden tools. A tough powder coating in a distinctive green helps protect from rust.
The shaft is crafted in FSC®-certified white ash, selected for its strength and shock-absorbing properties. The patent-pending thermo-treated handle in FSC®-certified white ash is designed for comfort, increased durability and moisture resistance. The comfortable ‘Y’ grip handle is double riveted at the base for strength. An extra-long, double-riveted strapped socket introduces strength and an element of flex at this key joint.
