Description
Secateurs are used to prune the thinner branches and dead wood of trees and shrubs. Use a lopper or pruning saw for pruning thicker branches and dead wood.
Asuka secateurs are made for professional gardeners. The Asuka is a ‘flying dragon’ type of secateur. This means the blades do not touch. That is, there is a gap between the cutting blade and holding anvil. The Asuka has additional sharpness and no friction when compared to the SR-1 secateurs.
The Asuka has a different spring system compared to the SR-1. The coiled spring reduces shock to the hand, making them ideal for long hours of work involving a large amount of pruning.
