First Aid tips you can use these Essential Oils for:
- Tea Tree can be used undiluted for fungal infections such as athletes foot or directly on cold sores, acne or boils.
- Add 3 drops of Tea Tree oil to a shallow bath for vaginal thrush.
- To clear a stuffy head from a cold at 3 drops of Tea Tree oil to a bowl of hot water, with a towel over your head inhale the vapours.
- For indigestion and intestinal pain add 1 drop of Peppermint oil to a teaspoon carrier oil of your choice and massage the area in a clockwise direction.
- To bring relief to headaches put a drop of Peppermint onto a small piece of cloth and inhale or add 1 drop of Peppermint to a tsp of carrier oil and massage into the area where the head pain is worse.
- Apply undiluted Lavender to small burns such as oven, iron, or fat splatter burns.
- For insect bites dab undiluted Lavender onto bite area.
- Stress headache and nervous tension use 3-4 drops of Lavender in a vaporiser or add 1-2 drops to a teaspoon of carrier oil and massage into the neck or forehead.
